On July 5th, 2010 I lost my Fiancé Michelle Weiser to a 2 ½ year battle with metastatic breast cancer. During her fight with cancer my eyes were truly opened up to how big this epidemic is. Along the way I’ve had the great opportunity to meet and see the spirit of patients, survivors, friends and family members who all share in this roller coaster of a fight against cancer.
Why “F&CK CANCER”?!?!? It started with Michelle. In addition to her youthful energy and great smile … she was sassy and wasn’t afraid to tell anyone what she thought or what she wanted. With a friend she came up with this logo.
The message is not meant to be negative. It’s a statement of power. It’s a statement of you seizing the day and taking back control. It’s not just something for those who battle cancer themselves … It’s for the mothers, fathers, grandparents, sons, daughters, uncles, aunts and friends of all those that share in the battle.
The more we show it, the more others know they aren’t alone.
